We take intellectual property rights seriously. If you believe someone is infringing on your copyright or trademark on our site, please send us a written notice with the following details:A description of the copyrighted or trademarked work you believe is being infringed.

1. A link to the content that you think is infringing (e.g., the URL of the page where it appears).
2. A statement saying you believe in good faith that the content is being used without permission from the copyright/trademark owner or the law.
3. A statement that the information you’ve provided is accurate, and that you are the copyright/trademark owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
4. Your physical or electronic signature, along with your contact details (address, phone number, and email if available).

We also don’t tolerate abuse of intellectual property rights. If you think your content was wrongly removed for copyright or trademark issues, you can send us a counter-notice with these details:

1. A description of the work that was removed and where it appeared on the site before it was taken down.
2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the content was removed by mistake or misidentification. For trademark issues, include an explanation of why you believe your content doesn’t infringe on the trademark.
3. A statement that you agree to the jurisdiction of (a) the Federal District Court where you live, if you’re in the U.S., or (b) any court where Yelp is located, if you’re outside the U.S. You also need to confirm that you’ll accept legal documents from the person who filed the original infringement notice.
4. Your signature (either physical or electronic), along with your contact info (address, phone number, and email if available).

We’ll review all counter-notices and comply with the law. Keep in mind that we may remove content we believe is infringing without notice and at our discretion. We also reserve the right to suspend accounts if someone is found to be a repeat offender.
