Inspired by Trinidad and Tobago’s carnival model, the Cambridge Carnival International is
growing into a must experience carnival event in the States. Locals and international visitors
flock to the Cambridge Area making up 100,000 eager attendees. What began as a small Boston street fair, now boasts an immensely diverse crowd and features traditional steel bands conjuring the rhythms of the Caribbean. As well as a costume competition where revelers display grand headpieces and beaded bottoms and theme floats carried by partiers.
