CARNIVAL CALABAR

Dubbed the largest street party in Africa, Calabar Carnival has brought upon a major source in tourism for Nigeria. Participants all over the world descend in Nigeria to experience carnival, yes even some famous faces you may recognize. The Calabar Carnival is one day of the Calabar Festival which displays the pride of African heritage and culture. The carnival sees as much as 50,000 marchers and 2 million spectators! Calabar Carnival aims to inject aspects of local heritage and culture into the mix while also being inclusive to other countries joining in on the festivities.
