Ocho Rios, located along the northern coast of Jamaica, this resort town is bringing the
hot, steamy culture of carnival to its port town. The Ocho Rios Carnival and Road March
was born out of the desire to create a premier carnival experience. The founders already
familiar with the popularity of carnival, sought out to make their own mark on carnival
culture in Jamaica. The result? A festive carnival parade complete with the necessary
staples. Pumping music trucks, hip shaking, gyrating bodies, and beautiful people
adorned in beautiful costumes. Ocho Rios may attract a bevy of tourists because of its
rainforest, waterfalls and rivers. But Ocho Rios Carnival will soon surely be another
draw for tourists and carnival enthusiasts to make that trip to Jamaica! Do you want to
be left out of this new premier carnival movement? I can’t imagine that you do.
