The Carnival of Venice dates backs as early as the 14 th century. Its means of establishment was simple: to promote fun and “merrymaking”. With the added aid of masking ones identity, the mysterious air of the Carnival allowed all participants the freedom and gift of inhibition and pleasure. The Carnival of Venice has inspired many carnival events around the world with a Catholic history. It is the original and most extravagant carnival!
